Meet Shawn Cleary

Former Naval Officer turned Full Time Realtor
Before venturing into real estate in 2020, Shawn walked on a unique path, starting with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. His service to our nation included roles as a submarine officer aboard the USS Cheyenne (SSN 773), a NPTU Shift Engineer on the MTS 701, and a Naval Science Instructor at NROTC Unit The Citadel. He further expanded his knowledge with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
What truly sets Shawn apart is his profound enthusiasm for real estate. Beyond being an astute investor with ten rentals in the Charleston area, his heart beats for something greater – building and nurturing the bonds of community. His passion is to help families and investors discover not just a house, but a true home in Charleston. Jayann’s journey into our team began as a Navy Corpsman, laying the foundation for her to join the real estate industry. As our Administrative Manager, Jayann plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our team. She oversees and coordinates administrative tasks, creating a well-organized and productive work environment for everyone. Her role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including:

Meet Cody Rich

Director of Marketing
Cody’s journey to the team started after he moved from Bozeman Montana to Charleston to experience the historic city and it’s amazing beaches. Cody earned a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Before starting with our team, he worked for ViralHog leading the content team that grew their channel to 23 million YouTube subscribers, making them one of the largest viral content channels on YouTube.
As the Director of Marketing, Cody plays a pivotal role leading all branding, content, and lead generation efforts. He brings a high-level digital strategy to real estate marketing. Cody oversees our YouTube presence, social media campaigns, listing promotion, newsletters, and advertising strategy—ensuring our clients’ properties get maximum exposure and our brand stays ahead of the curve. His creative eye, data-driven mindset, and deep understanding of what converts views into leads make him an essential part of our growth.
Meet Hunter Javier

Hunter was the first agent to join our team and has lived in Charleston for over 14 years so he knows the area like the back of his hand. Hunter has hit the ground running and has already completed multiple deals. Almost every transaction he’s worked on has had difficult aspects to them but he’s managed to make each one successful. He goes above and beyond for his clients through tough negotiation and strong market knowledge. Hunter is also training to be an Olympic swimmer so that shows you the caliber he strives for every day. We are excited to have him on the team!

JJ was born and raised in Charleston specifically in the Nexton area of Summerville South Carolina. He graduated from Cane Bay High School and this experience growing up is instrumental to his skillset and knowledge of the Charleston area. He was a successful collegiate athlete playing baseball at both Limestone University and Spartanburg Methodist College. JJ has been a successful agent for over a year with most of his transactions involving new construction. He loves hunting, shark fishing, and going to the beach.

He works closely with our agents to manage every step of the contract-to-close process — from writing offers and coordinating inspections to tracking key deadlines and ensuring compliance within Command. Sol also provides after-hours support, allowing our team to offer seamless service to clients even outside of business hours. His attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to handle high volumes of work with precision make him an invaluable asset to both our agents and our clients.

Transaction Coordinator & Seller Concierge
Ansly is a key member of The Shawn Cleary Team, supporting our operations and providing after-hours coordination for buyer transactions. He manages listing workflows, oversees daily task tracking, and ensures all documents and timelines are handled with precision. During his evening shift, Ansly takes over transaction responsibilities — including writing offers, managing inspections, and communicating with all parties to keep deals moving forward. He also monitors the team inbox, drafts professional responses, and ensures urgent matters are addressed promptly. With a strong focus on efficiency, follow-through, and client experience, Ansly helps keep the entire team running smoothly behind the scenes.
